“MSc Mathematics has a lot of theoretical stuff, I would only recommend this branch to those who have a real addiction to maths. The professors are good but the coursework is very tough and grading isn't that great. Great opportunities research wise, and for job, certain finance companies do open up as B4A7 (Maths+CSE), rest, the job opportunities are mainly finance through only maths, you can obviously sit for IT/ET/Core placements too according to your BTech or even out of interest.”
